In Takraw there are 1 official refree, 2 Umpires, and 6 lines men.

There are 3 players on each team, or each "side". The area of the court is 13.4m x 6.1m. There are two serve circles (one on each side), from that area is where you serve from. I think this sport is very interesting and creative.

Politics

Laos is a single-party socialist republic. The only legal party in politics is the Laos people's Revolutionary Party (LPRP). The President is Choummaly Sayasone who also is secretary genral of the LPRP. The Prime Minister Thongsing Thammarong is the leader in government. I think their poltics system is very strong and that the leaders get a lot of respect.

Sports in Laos have brought in tourism and interest to their country. They are very competive with sports. Their main sport is Takraw. My opinion on takraw is that it is a combination of volleyball and soccer played on a small court. They also serve it just like you do in volleyball, but return it like you would do in soccer. I personally think it would be very hard to play this sport, since there's a lot of jumping and kicking.
